COUNTY ASSEMBLY RESUMES AFTER RECESS

The Nyamira County Assembly is resuming its sittings after a short recess of eleven days. “The honorable Members have been actively engaged in the day to day activities of the Assembly. The recess afforded them a moment of relaxation as well as an opportunity to reflect on the achievements and challenges encountered so far,” the Speaker, Hon. Moffat Teya says.

According to Hon Teya, reports that have been adopted in the second session of the Assembly are Budget and Appropriations Report on Nyamira County Annual Development Plan 2018/19 Financial Year, Committee on Health Report on Inspection of Health Facilities in Nyamira South Sub-County, and Implementation Committee Report on the Implementation Status of KICOSCA Report.

Others are Committee on Education and Youth Empowerment Report on Nyamira County Bursary Fund, Committee on Education and Youth Empowerment Report on Inspection of Youth Polytechnic and Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Report on Inspection of Water Projects.
