President William Ruto accompanied by his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo and other leaders commissions three roads worth Sh3.6 billion in Borabu constituency

Residents of Borabu Sun-county of Nyamira County have reasons to smile after President William Ruto launched a number of roads in the region.
Accompanied by his host, Governor Amos Nyaribo, the President said the three roads that will be upgraded into bitumen standards will cost Sh3.6 billion.
The first road to be tarmacked stretches from Eronge – Kebuse – Kahawa- Memesi – Tembwo/border – Borani TTC up to Omonyenya.
The second one starts from Amakara – Isoge to Chebilat.
The third road will kick off at Chencha – Simbauti – Tindereti – Nyansiongo Mission – Saiga Ngiya – Kineni junction to Prince Dan high school.
The President who was accompanied by his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua said he sourced funds for the construction of the roads during his tour in China.
The commissioning of the roads in Borabu comes shortly after the President dished goodies like establishment of Nyamira University at Kiabonyoru in Nyamira Sub-county, opening of Keroka Level Four hospital and the proposed establishment of KMTC at Manga in Kitutu Masaba constituency.
Governor Nyaribo thanked the president for the successful tour of his County and asked the President to consider a hospital that was being constructed in Manga of Borabu constituency by the national government was completed.
The President acceded, saying Sh10m will be allocated to complete the hospital.
Governor Nyaribo further requested the Head of State to ensure that electricity under Last mile Connectivity was extended to Nyamira town to enable his government to connect water to residents of Ting’a, Kebirigo and Miruka areas.
“Further, your Excellency, I request for your government assistance to rehabilitate 28 dams in Borabu Sub-county in order to address acute water shortage in the area,” Governor Nyaribo told the President.
