Jones Omwenga is the County Executive Committee Member, Roads and Public Works Department for the County Government of Nyamira. He comes from North Mugirango constituency, Itibo Ward.
Mr. Omwenga has an MBA in Finance from JKUAT and Bachelors degree from Kenyatta University. Previously he has worked in the banking sector for over 6 years.
He was among the pioneer CECs for this great County serving in the Department of Finance, Economic Planning and ICT, Education among others.

Alice Manoti is the CEC Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries department. She has vast experience in the public service sector spanning close to 30 years. She comes from magombo ward in Nyamira County.
A graduate of Egerton University in the early 90s, she has worked in kisii county formerly Kisii district as rising to rank of DLPO the later for a world bank project at Ogembo(KAPPAP).
She went on to be the first chief officer for water and sanitation and PSM formerly Public Administration and Coordination of decentralized Units(PACDU).
Mr. Steven Kennedy Oboso is the current County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for the Department of Lands, Housing, Physical planning and Urban development in Nyamira County Government. A native of the County, Mr. Oboso hails From Bosamaro ward, in Nyamira South Sub-County.
Mr. Oboso has a long standing career as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He completed his Bachelors in Law (LLB) from the University of Nairobi in 1989 and proceeded to the Kenya school of Law the following year for his Diploma. He started practicing law in the year 1991.
He worked in the Nyamira County Public Service Board as a member between 2013-2017.
As a Christian, Oboso is a strong believer of honesty and fairness in his work while diligence remains his virtue at his assignments. He believes that for results, he must take his work serious at all times because any work given is service to community.
At the department of Lands, he intends to work with the staff in the various directorates to make a difference and have a positive impact to the lives of people Nyamira.

Dr Nyamongo is the current County Executive Committee Member for the Department of Gender, Youth, Sports, Culture and Social Services
She has a rich educational history that has developed spanning over a decade. Dr Nyamongo has a PHD in Gender studies from York University, Toronto Canada, a Post Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development Studies form the University of Nairobi besides other professional qualifications from other Institutions of Higher learning.
Prior to her appointment at the Department as a CECM, Dr Nyamongo worked at the University of Nairobi as a Research Associate /lecturer at the African Women’s Studies Centre.
As a Christian, her strong religious believes coupled with the rich knowledge that she has acquired all through the years will propel the department’s six directorates to higher levels and help it achieve its mandate to the people of Nyamira.
Mr. Maina is a dedicated People Manager, Business leader with a demonstrated work history in the financial services industry with relevant trade experience of over 15 years.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree from the University of Nairobi and professional Certificate in Retail Banking from Retail Banking Academy International.
He is skilled in Business Development, Customer experience, Relationship building and Management, Credit origination and analysis SME banking, Foreign Exchange (FX) and Operations risk management.
As a great strategic planner with strong organizational skills, Maina believes in integrity with a focus on achieving results.
He has a vision of creating and developing a high performing team that will help develop policies that will enhance revenue collection to support service delivery.
He is a Seventh day Adventist believer.
Mr. Angwenyi is the current County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for the department of Education and Vocational Training in Nyamira County.
Mr. Angwenyi is an outstanding career civil servant with twenty eight (28) years of service to the public as an administrator as well as a tutor. He holds a bachelor of Education in history and religious studies from Kenyatta University.
Through this period, he has earned immense experience that has enabled him to maneuver in the civil service and hence provide quality service to the people.
The educationist is a Christian who believes in teamwork, accountability honesty and professionalism as key values that enhance his efficiency and effectiveness at work.
In his current position as CECM, Angwenyi strives to offer better services to the people of Nyamira by identifying the gaps that exist in service delivery more so in his docket by coming up with strategies to counter them.
Dr. Ombati T. Mokua is the current County Executive Committee Member for Health Services in Nyamira County.
He is a young professional and native of Manga ward, Nyamira County with diverse training and social-religious capabilities brought about by interactions with various spheres.
He is a medical practitioner having studied MBchB -Kampala International University – Uganda and currently undertaking an MSC (HSM) -Kenya Methodist University (Nairobi Campus).
Dr Ombati has deep religious undertakings having been born and nurtured in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where the church’s teachings have since influenced his work ethics and general interactions with society and to extension, his work.
He worked as an intern in 2015 at Nyamira County Referral Hospital and in 2016, he was confirmed as a Medical Officer at the same hospital.
In 2017, Dr Ombati underwent training on Health Labour Union Leadership Management and Governance. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Kenya Medical Association Kisii Division. In 2018, Dr Ombati underwent training in Senior Management Course (SMC) at the Kenya School of Government.
He is skilled in Preventive and curative care knowledge, and has strong interpersonal skills that have enabled him to build rapport with people. At work, he desires Integrity, accountability, diligence and perseverance.
For him to execute his mandate well, Dr Ombati believes in consultation and having a listening ear.
